Apple's New 40W Dynamic Power Adapter Now Available Globally: Triple-Prong Folding Design, Up to 60W
November 14th news: Apple is expanding the availability of its new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter (supporting up to 60W) to several countries and regions using the Type-G connector. This new version of the adapter features a triple-prong folding design, unlike the two-prong version launched with the iPhone 17 series in September.
The new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter is now available in the UK, Ireland, UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia, priced at HK$299.
Apple previously launched the Dynamic Power Adapter in the US, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, and the Philippines. The 40W Dynamic Power Adapter is the same size as Apple's 20W power adapter, but it provides 40W charging speeds and can deliver up to 60W for short periods to further accelerate charging. The two-prong version in China is priced at RMB 329.
